QHSE SPECIALIST

Our client, a company specializing in the production of paper hygiene products for domestic and industrial use, is looking for a QHSE Manager to lead and develop its Quality, Safety, and Environmental systems.

Main activities

  • Environmental Management: monitoring and regulatory compliance (AIA, AUA, PRTR), management of relationships with agencies (ARPAC, ISPRA, etc.), coordination of environmental analyses and preparation of mandatory reports;

  • Waste Management: RENTRI compilation, MUD declaration, contacts with waste disposal plants and analysis laboratories, management of storage areas and by-products;

  • EU Regulations: EUTR/EUDR management and Due Diligence on cellulose, record keeping and relationships with relevant bodies (e.g. CITES);

  • Quality and Certifications: Maintenance and development of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, FSC/PEFC, MOCA, and Water Footprint systems. Audit coordination, documentation management, and non-compliance;

  • Health and Safety: updated safety procedures, mandatory training, technical audits of suppliers, and support for the RSPP role;

  • Continuous Improvement: monitoring quality and sustainability KPIs, identifying critical areas, and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Previous experience in similar roles, in industrial and manufacturing contexts;
  • Practical knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, etc.) and their implementation and certification methods;
  • Experience in managing and implementing certification systems and coordinating internal and external audits;
  • Experience in managing non-compliance and corrective actions, particularly in the area of corporate compliance.
  • Attention to detail;
  • Operational/managerial problem solving skills;
  • Results oriented.


Preferential/Nice to have

  • Previous experience in the paper industry is preferable;

Compensation Package

The compensation package will be commensurate with the candidate's actual experience.
