Sales Manager - Large-Scale Retail Channel

Our client, a leading company in the production of paper hygiene and sanitary products for domestic and industrial use, is looking for a Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and strengthen the large-scale retail channel.

Main activities

  • Manage and develop the customer portfolio, with the aim of acquiring new customers, consolidating existing ones, and achieving sales objectives through proactive and personalized management of commercial relationships.
  • Conduct first-level negotiations within the large-scale retail trade, interfacing directly with distribution CEDIs to define agreements, commercial conditions, and promotional plans;
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, defining sales plans based on in-depth analysis of the market, trends, and competition;
  • Management of commercial negotiations;
  • Constantly monitor commercial performance through KPI analysis and provide periodic reports on sales, market trends, and the achievement of strategic objectives;
  • Manage after-sales support, addressing issue resolution, managing returns, complaints, and ensuring high customer satisfaction to foster customer loyalty and return;
  • Actively participate in trade fairs and industry events, representing the company and promoting the brand, to develop new business relationships.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the paper industry or related sectors, with experience managing client portfolios and developing new markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the large-scale retail trade sector and its dynamics, including interaction with distribution centers;
  • Ability to analyze market data, trends, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities and optimize processes.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and offering customized solutions.
  • Experience overseeing the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closing.
  • Proactive in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong focus on individual and team performance.
  • Ability to analyze sales results and take corrective actions to optimize results.

Compensation Package

The compensation package will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
