Area Manager - Made Distribution

The Area Manager will be the driving force behind purchasing and sales policies and will ensure consistency in assortment, pricing, and promotions across all Made Distribuzione branded stores.

Main activities

  • Supplier Management
    Supervision of procurement policies, performance monitoring, and negotiation of the best conditions.
  • Trade Policy
    Definition of prices, discounts and promotions, coordination of the layout and assortment of the sales outlets.
  • Budget & Performance
    Creation and monitoring of the commercial budget, marginality analysis, and corrective actions to achieve objectives.
  • Marketing & Analytics
    Collaboration with Marketing for promotional plans, market analysis, and communication strategies.
  • Network Development
    Strategic support for new openings and the integration of existing locations, implementing standard sales and service models.

Requirements

Hard Skills

  • Diploma/Degree
  • Significant experience in sales/sales management roles gained at leading construction distribution companies in Italy (direct chains or structured networks)
  • Knowledge of network business dynamics and multipoint systems
  • Availability to travel frequently
  • Excellent knowledge of the building materials sector and B2B/B2C distribution
  • Mastery of pricing, assortment, and category management
  • Advanced expertise in analysis tools (Excel, BI, ERP)
