Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Management, the Sales Director will be responsible for setting and managing the overall sales strategy, coordinating the Italian and international sales structure and making a key contribution to business growth.

The role will have a dual focus: strategic, in defining development plans, and operational, in directly managing the team and in relationships with customers and the distribution network.

The main activities will be:

  • design and implement the complete computerization of the sales process, promoting the advanced use of the company's CRM for the integrated management of opportunities, customers, and performance;
  • conduct structured analyses of international markets and competitors to identify new areas of expansion and partnership opportunities;
  • define and optimize the distribution model, ensuring consistency with the brand positioning and the company's economic and financial objectives;
  • develop a multi-year business development plan, defining objectives, priorities, resources and timelines;
  • design the operational structure of the sales function, optimizing processes, roles and responsibilities,
  • define and monitor the commercial budget, set pricing and margin policies consistent with market strategies;
  • build a structured system of key performance indicators (KPIs) to support the monitoring of results, commercial productivity and customer satisfaction;
  • Lead, motivate, and train the sales team and sales force, fostering a culture focused on results, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Degree in economics, engineering or similar disciplines;
  • Consolidated experience in Sales Management or Export Management roles in structured industrial companies, preferably with an international presence;
  • In-depth knowledge of B2B sales processes and multi-channel distribution logic;
  • Solid expertise in using CRM and digital tools to support the sales force;
  • Experience in defining strategic plans and managing complex budgets;
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic vision, combined with a pragmatic and operational approach;
  • Authoritative leadership, results-oriented, and a strong aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Fluent English, French and/or German preferred.
