Trade & Pricing Manager

This position will be part of the Sales Department, overseeing the analysis and definition of pricing policies, in line with company strategies and market developments.

Main activities

  • Continuous analysis of price lists, margins and competitive variations;
  • Monitoring of key economic KPIs and identification of corrective actions;
  • Development of pricing models and simulations to support the definition of strategies for categories and product lines;
  • Preparation of periodic reports and management dashboards;
  • Gathering and interpreting market insights, with particular reference to the dynamics of the pharmacy and large-scale retail channels;
  • Contribution to the definition of promotional policies and assortment strategies.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Degree in economics, statistics or similar disciplines;
  • 5–7 years of experience gained in structured contexts in the following areas: large-scale retail trade (food and non-food), pharmaceutical distribution, FMCG or e-commerce in pricing or business analysis roles;
  • Excellent familiarity with advanced Excel;
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau);
  • Knowledge of the main price analysis models, marginality and elasticity;
  • Analytical approach, precision, data orientation, ability to summarize and communicate with cross-functional interlocutors.

  • Aptitude for problem solving;
  • Operational autonomy;
  • Strong results orientation;
  • Ability to operate in a structured manner within a dynamic context;
  • Knowledge of SQL is appreciated.
