Plant Manager

• Supervises the activities of the various departments in terms of correct distribution of loads, personnel management, shift coverage, resolution of current problems, optimization of existing processes, improvement of flows
• Drafts, monitors and, if necessary, modifies work plans based on orders
• Manages shifts, permits, and holiday plans for assigned staff with the support of the production coordinator
• He is responsible for maintenance activities with the coordination of 2 specialists
• Assists Management in further developing the plant by proposing investments to improve performance, implementing department automation, introducing new technologies, etc.
• He is responsible for safety, working in collaboration with the external RSPP
• Prepares reports for Management analyzing the various KPIs for an aggregated feedback and a clear vision of the progress of activities, and the "health" of the plant
• Interfaces with other company functions (sales, HR, supply chain, etc.) to share information and objectives

Essentials/Must have

• Technical degree
• Previous experience in Operations-related roles within production plants, preferably in the metalworking-industrial sector
• Solid use of reporting in KPI analysis and improvement of workflows and procedures
• Fair knowledge of English
• Leadership skills, concreteness, overall vision and innovation

Preferential/Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
• Accustomed to automated production contexts
• Knowledge of the main mechanical processes
