A&D and Contractor Sales Manager - Design - Luxury

The role will be responsible for developing the brand's commercial growth through the acquisition of new business opportunities in the high-end tailor-made interior design sector (modern pop craft).

Main activities

Reporting to the Owner, the position will be responsible for developing the business in the high-end furnishing accessories segment, activating new commercial opportunities and building strong relationships with clients both in the Contract channel and through key opinion leaders, architecture, engineering, and interior design firms.

The candidate will join a small strategic team, reporting directly to the owners, focused on developing a brand dedicated to a complementary but distinct activity from the group's core business.

Market presence will be developed with a consultative approach, promoting the brand's collections and tailor-made solutions, and supporting the entire customer journey.

The primary objective of the role is to structure a market action plan , defining processes, procedures , and commercial guidelines that will consolidate the brand's presence , which until now has been managed without a structured plan .

Main responsibilities

  • Market analysis : competitors, industry trends, new targets, and brand positioning.
  • Scouting and developing new opportunities in the luxury segment, and managing structured relationships with architecture, engineering, interior design, and contractor firms .
  • Presentation of the brand and collections to key players and privileged stakeholders.
  • Enhance the uniqueness of the product – bespoke approach, excellent workmanship – presenting it with expertise and high-level storytelling.
  • Identification of new sales channels and strategic partnerships , both locally and internationally.
  • Monitoring of the existing customer portfolio with ongoing relationship, development and follow-up activities.
  • Collaboration with the creative and technical team to define tailor-made solutions.
  • Preparation of offers, quotes, and support for logistics/shipping management activities related to ongoing projects.
  • Monitoring of negotiation progress, pipelines, and forecasts, with periodic reporting on project progress and relationship development with Ownership.
  • Participation in trade fairs, salons, and industry events , open houses, and initiatives dedicated to studios and premium clients.
  • Support for the production of commercial communication materials (catalogs, presentations, technical materials, stands).
  • Coordination of a team of two resources focused on communications and marketing activities.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Approximately 4–6 years of experience gained in sales roles in the luxury design furniture sector.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with contractors or architecture/design firms.
  • Active and solid network of relationships in the sector.
  • Fluent English.
  • Good command of digital tools, social channels, Office (Power Point, Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural commercial aptitude.
  • Strong focus on results and self-directed goal-setting, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Availability to travel and participate in trade fairs and industry events.


Preferential/Nice to have

  • Degree in Economics, Marketing, Architecture, Design Management or related disciplines.
  • A passion for pop culture and industrial design will be preferable.

Compensation Package

  • The remuneration package will be proportionate to the actual market development capacity.
