Export Area Manager Europe

The candidate will be responsible for strengthening the company's commercial presence in European markets, contributing to increased export revenue and improved brand positioning, in line with the company's strategy.

Main activities

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships in target markets
  • Contribute to the definition of marketing policies and promotional initiatives dedicated to the assigned markets
  • Manage the entire sales process: preliminary contact, negotiation, formulation of offers and definition of commercial conditions
  • Coordinate the activities of local distributors, agents and importers
  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor behavior to ensure the company's correct positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal functions (marketing, R&D, logistics, quality) to ensure a consistent offering that is appropriate to the needs of the markets under responsibility
  • Represent the company at international trade fairs, industry events, and trade missions, respecting the brand's values and image.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Experience in commercial/export roles in the food sector at structured companies
  • Consolidated negotiation and business development skills in international contexts with the management of a variety of interlocutors: distributors, agents, importers and large-scale retail chains
  • Excellent knowledge of English and a second foreign language
  • Availability to travel frequently
  • Strong analytical skills, results orientation, planning ability and strategic vision


Preferential/Nice to have

  • Origin from the fresh sector : dairy products, meat, fish, desserts, etc.
  • Knowledge of German and/or French
