Main activities
- Negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts with carriers, 3PLs, and logistics partners, maintaining a strong focus on performance: transportation costs, service quality, and POD monitoring.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with customs partners in Italy and the UK, monitoring costs (monthly invoice checks) and service levels.
- Oversee UK warehouse management : inventory management, intercompany orders, customer shipments, and relationships with logistics partners.
- Ensure regulatory compliance: monitor ongoing regulatory updates on customs, ADR, transport, and security, and adapt internal procedures.
- Oversee the sales order cycle , from entry, to invoicing to delivery confirmation, ensuring efficiency and quality and planning team workloads (6).
- Define and implement Customer Service procedures to ensure a high level of customer service , including service policies, complaint management, and basic price list.
- Manage strategic accounts and provide support to the sales force on commercial terms, transportation, and specific requests.
The resource will work directly with Management to advance proposals for the development and implementation of new projects with a view to continuous improvement and to provide periodic analysis reports.

Requirements
Essentials/Must have
- Experience in Logistics and Customer Service roles in complex organizations managing multiple geographically dispersed warehouses.
- Management and coordination of a team.
- Fluent English.
- In-depth knowledge of export customs regulations, logistics processes, and regulations related to product transportation and management.
- Good planning, organizational, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in the chemical/pharmaceutical/hazardous transport sector.
- Experience in customs management.

Compensation Package
