System Administrator - Technical Specialist - Cloud Engineer
Ref. 06/2026
in the following areas:
- Cloud, management of the platform and the services provided
- Engineering, evolution and program management
- Infrastructure Services, rationalization and updating of systems and hosted software
- Control Room, monitoring and 24/7 assistance of business services
- Workstation Assistance
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the required profiles.
The profile description and the main skills required for each of the Professional Profiles indicated are as follows:
System Administrator
These candidates will be responsible for system management and maintenance. Specifically, they will be responsible for routine management tasks, such as installing, configuring, and updating operating systems, managing users and access permissions, managing backup and recovery systems, performance monitoring, ticket management, and providing technical support to internal users and external customers. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for applying security patches, managing incidents, and implementing high availability and business continuity solutions. Another key role will be troubleshooting system issues, aimed at maintaining high levels of efficiency and reliability of IT services. When specific project requirements arise, the selected candidate will collaborate with other company departments to design, develop, and test new technological solutions, also aimed at improving the services provided and expanding the Consortium's commercial offering.
In particular, it will carry out the following activities:
- Configure, administer, and monitor operating systems (Linux, Unix, and Windows Server) and virtualized or cloud environments.
- Manage backup and restore systems for data, configurations, and virtual machines, ensuring information availability and integrity.
- Manage user or customer requests through ticketing tools, ensuring adequate response times and effective problem resolution.
- Interact with technical and functional representatives for analysis, insights, and support in the delivery of IT services.
- Implement and maintain high availability (HA), load balancing, and disaster recovery solutions, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
- Manage and apply security and encryption solutions to protect data and information
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and contribute to the enrichment of the knowledge base
- Implement security and compliance policies in line with current regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Monitor technological developments in the infrastructure sector, proposing improvements, new solutions, and optimizations of IT services.
- Experiment and test new technologies to evaluate their applicability and benefits in context
The ideal candidate has skills in managing and administering IT infrastructures, with particular reference to operating systems and virtualized environments.
Knowledge and experience in all or part of the following areas is required:
- Management and administration of Linux, Unix and Windows operating systems
- Management of backup and restore systems, including replication and disaster solutions
- Management of virtualized/containerized infrastructures (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Troubleshooting and performance activities
- Proactive system monitoring through dedicated software
- Manage IT tickets and assets using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
- Knowledge of the main security and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001).
Technical Specialist
The positions will be included among the staff employed in the Workstation Assistance Service of the Consortium and its member organizations. The resources will be responsible for:
- Installation and configuration of basic operating systems on workstations (Windows)
- preparation and testing of operating system images in an enterprise context
- installation and configuration of new software on workstations
- Troubleshooting activities on software and hardware components relating to workstations
- secure data handling, recovery and deletion activities on workstations
- reassignment of resources between workstations (between users) or between services or between hosts;
- hardware and software updates (new features or modules or components);
- uninstalling (or changing the configuration) of software or modifying hardware configurations
If necessary, they will be able to involve the Consortium's specialist groups to resolve complex or cross-cutting issues.
- Manage and promptly report any anomalies or alarms, carrying out initial technical checks and, if necessary, involving the relevant specialist groups.
- Manage requests and reports from users or customers via ticketing tools and telephone calls, ensuring traceability, correctness of information and compliance with processing times
- Manage contacts with external suppliers to initiate, monitor, and close requests for intervention aimed at repairing faults or malfunctions.
- Compile and update technical documentation relating to the activities performed and contribute to the enrichment of the internal knowledge base.
- Liaise with technical and functional representatives to ensure proper reporting and coordinated problem management.
- Collaborate to improve incident monitoring and response processes, proposing operational optimizations and automation solutions.
The ideal candidate has skills in managing and administering Windows systems in enterprise architectures, with particular reference to operating systems, and, where possible, has developed a basic knowledge of networks and security solutions.
Knowledge and experience in all or part of the following areas is required:
- Experience in checking and troubleshooting installation problems and failures
- Experience in using software dedicated to the control and supervision of applications, operating systems and services
- Experience using asset management software specifically for inventory and resource management
- Manage IT tickets and assets using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
Cloud Engineer
The position will be responsible for ensuring the design, implementation, management, and optimization of infrastructure and services in a private cloud environment (Nivola). Candidates will be responsible for the reliability, security, scalability, and regulatory compliance of the platforms, collaborating with engineering, operations, and security teams for process automation, patch management, platform deployment/evolution, and infrastructure monitoring.
This resource operates in the management of infrastructure and application services, ensuring high levels of availability, integrity, confidentiality, and resilience of information systems, in compliance with the security, business continuity, and regulatory compliance requirements set forth by current legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly reliable cloud architectures;
- Operational management of IaaS, PaaS and managed cloud services environments;
- Implementation of backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, with definition of RTO/RPO;
- Automating provisioning and configuration processes using Infrastructure as Code tools;
- Performance monitoring, capacity planning and resource optimization;
- Application of IT security measures in compliance with ACN guidelines, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 22301 and personal data protection legislation;
- Second and third level specialist technical support;
- Drafting and updating of technical documentation and procedures
The ideal candidate has developed expertise in enterprise infrastructure management, demonstrating a strong aptitude for new technologies, with the ability to contextualize them and identify their potential within complex projects. The ideal candidate must have experience maintaining the documentation system for managing initiatives, adapting it based on the complexity of the project and the specific needs of each phase. Furthermore, the ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to identify and manage infrastructure issues that could impact the service provided.
Knowledge and experience in all or part of the following areas is required:
- Main server operating systems (e.g. RedHat, Ubuntu, Windows)
- Enterprise hypervisor (e.g. VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM)
- Private cloud solutions (e.g. VMware vCloud, OpenStack)
- Kubernetes (on-prem) for workload orchestration, scaling, and management (RedHat Openshift, Suse Rancher)
- Implementation of data protection solutions (e.g., Veaam, Data Protection Suite) and management of backup appliances (DELL Data Domain)
- Anti-ransomware protection solutions
- Automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Terraform)
- Versioning and configuration management (GitOps)
- Enterprise network architectures (VLAN, VXLAN, routing, firewalling);
- Load balancer and reverse proxy;
- Micro-segmentation and network security;
- Administration and configuration of enterprise SAN/NAS storage devices;
- Infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g. Zabbix, Prometheus);
- Log centralization (ELK stack or equivalent);
- High availability architectures (active/active or active/passive clusters);
For all profiles sought:
- The following will be considered preferential requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or scientific field (For qualifications obtained abroad, they must be recognized as equivalent or equivalent to the corresponding Italian qualification according to current legislation or the procedure to obtain equivalence or equivalence has been activated)
- Higher Technical Diploma with a focus on ICT (For qualifications obtained abroad, they must be recognized as equivalent or equivalent to the corresponding Italian qualification based on current legislation or the procedure aimed at obtaining equivalence or equivalence has been activated)
- Professional certifications consistent with the profile skills sought
- Knowledge of the English language is required.

The position will be offered on a permanent contract with a salary and a classification level as per the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Tertiary Sector, which will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience and skills.
The working hours are 38 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours. The work location is Turin.

The selection process is inspired by the principles of impartiality, transparency, cost-effectiveness, and respect for equal gender opportunities.
The research is aimed at both genders, pursuant to Legislative Decree 198/2006.

To participate in the selection process, the following requirements must be declared and met by the application deadline and at the time of hiring:

- be in possession of a secondary school diploma (for qualifications obtained abroad, they must be recognized as equivalent or equivalent to the corresponding Italian qualification according to current legislation or the procedure aimed at obtaining equivalence or equivalence must have been activated);
- For those who have foreign citizenship, the following is required:
- good knowledge of spoken and written Italian;
- possession of a valid residence permit in Italy pursuant to current legislation (Legislative Decree 286/1998 and subsequent amendments) in the case of non-EU citizenship.
At any stage of the selection process, CSI Piemonte reserves the right to request original documentation proving the applicant's possession of the requirements stated when submitting the application and, in any case, prior to hiring.
Application for participation
The application to participate in the selection (Application) must be drawn up using exclusively the specific form available on the institutional website of CSI Piemonte ( www.csipiemonte.it in the “Work with us” section) which can be accessed via the Spid, CIE or CNS Digital Identity System by 07/04/2026.
CSI Piemonte reserves the right to extend the aforementioned deadline; in this case, notice will be posted on the institutional website. CSI Piemonte reserves the right to revoke the procedure for justified reasons.
The online application (Request) can be completed 24 hours a day. After the above deadline (also indicated on the online platform), the system will no longer allow submissions, and uncompleted applications will no longer be permitted.
The declarations made in the application to participate in the system are considered self-certification pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 445/2000, as amended; therefore, it is not necessary to attach all documentation supporting the declarations when submitting the application. However, documentation proving possession of the requirements stated in the application must be produced prior to hiring. In the event of a false declaration, CSI Piemonte may report the matter to the competent authorities, reserving the right to seek compensation for damages suffered.

Selection phase
The selection will be conducted by a special commission whose composition will take into account respect for gender equality, unless justified otherwise.
The Commission will examine the applications through the following activities:
A. CURRICULAR ANALYSIS: aimed, in a first phase, at excluding candidates who lack the admission requirements for the procedure, also due to the lack of relevance of their skills/experience to the profile sought, and, in a subsequent, more detailed phase, at evaluating the skills/experience possessed with those required;
B. COMPARATIVE SELECTION TESTS: the selection will take place through one or more tests, in the form of tests and individual interviews, in the technical, psychological, aptitude and language fields.
Furthermore, the Commission reserves the right to carry out a further phase of in-depth analysis of technical/practical knowledge as an additional element for the subsequent phase of interviews.
Once the activities referred to in the previous points A and B have been completed, the Commission will carry out a comparative evaluation of the applications received for each Professional Profile, assigning them a score according to the criteria below:

At the end of the selection procedure, the Commission will draw up a list of suitable candidates in descending order, based on the scores achieved in the evaluation for each Professional Profile.
The evaluation results will be valid for 12 months and can be used to address additional staffing needs consistent with the profile sought in this announcement.
The results of the selection process will be published on the CSI-Piemonte website at www.csipiemonte.it in the "Work with Us" section to inform all interested candidates. Specifically, direct written notification will also be given to those who participated in all phases of the entire selection process.
