Main Responsibilities
The General Manager plays a central role in the organization: he or she oversees the operational and commercial management of the company. He or she ensures the coordination of corporate functions, translates top management guidelines into effective action plans, and ensures the achievement of the organization's development, efficiency, and overall sustainability objectives.
- Support in defining and implementing corporate strategies, focusing on increased business and economic efficiency, in line with the approved Business Plan
- Operational supervision , coordinating the structure and ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality standards
- Resource management and union relations: personnel responsibility, management of union relations and company organization
- Institutional relations , management of relationships with regulatory bodies and infrastructure managers, such as RFI, FER and ANSFISA
- Technological innovation to improve business performance and customer service
- Safety and regulatory compliance including Dangerous Goods Management (RMP), Transport Enforcement Regulations (NET), and serves as Employer.

Requirements
Essentials/Must have:
- Degree in scientific or economic subjects;
- 5/10 years of experience in the operational management of complex organizations (preferably in the transport/logistics or mechanical manufacturing sectors);
- Commercial and negotiation skills : negotiates strategic contracts with customers and suppliers;
- Leadership and decision making : guides and is the operational point of reference for the entire organization;
- Economic and financial skills : the candidate is able to read, interpret, and use economic and financial data to make decisions relevant to the organization. He or she also prepares the budget, financial statements, and balance sheet for submission to the Board of Directors, with the support of the offices.
Preferential/Nice to have
- Experience in freight or passenger transport or logistics (ideally rail transport: freight trains, rolling stock, service planning)
