Operations Plant Manager - Ready To Wear

He oversees the Operations department, ensuring the efficiency of planning, industrialization, production, logistics, and product quality processes. He also actively guides the plant's organizational development.

Main activities

  • Analyze the complexities and risks along the entire production chain to propose structural and organizational solutions aimed at making processes fluid, efficient and monitorable;
  • Ensure integrated and realistic production planning, balancing internal and external production capacity;
  • Support production progress by prioritizing and intervening to manage any critical issues (delays, bottlenecks, technical problems, etc.);
  • Ensure that every stage of the production process fully complies with company standards and ensures the level of quality expected by customers;
  • Supervise the supply chain, optimizing flows and traceability;
  • Develop skills, decision-making autonomy, and accountability within teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Collaborate in the annual drafting of the Cpex, Opex and HR budget.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Consolidated experience in roles of responsibility in the Operations area, gained in manufacturing companies in the Ready-To-Wear sector;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proactivity, decision-making, leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement;
  • Degree in Management Engineering or similar, or Diploma in a technical-commercial field combined with significant experience in the role.


Preferential/Nice to have

  • Good knowledge of the English language;
  • Ability to analyze workflows, identifying anomalies and anticipating critical issues;
  • In-depth knowledge of clothing industry production processes, market trends, and technological innovation opportunities;
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and software, operational KPIs, and continuous improvement tools.

Compensation Package

The placement will take place with a remuneration package capable of valorizing the best candidates, indicatively within the range of €70-75,000 gross/year + MBO + car.
