Operations Plant Manager - Ready To Wear

He will be responsible for ensuring excellence in planning, industrialization, production, and logistics processes. He will also actively lead the plant's organizational development and innovation efforts.

Main activities

  • Analyze trends, complexities, and risks along the entire production chain, proposing structural and systemic solutions, as well as short-term tactical interventions;
  • Actively contribute to the definition of the Operations strategic plan and the annual budgeting process (CapEx, OpEx, human resources);
  • Ensure integrated, realistic production planning aligned with business priorities, balancing production capacity, operational constraints, and service levels;
  • Identify and select external laboratories for outsourcing part of the production, negotiating financial and operational conditions consistent with company objectives;
  • Develop skills, decision-making autonomy, and accountability within teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Ensure that every stage of the production process fully complies with quality standards;
  • Promote a structured approach to problem solving and solution testing;
  • Optimize workflows by reducing waste and inefficiencies, introducing operational and management tools that enable process analysis based on clear, measurable, and shared KPIs.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Consolidated experience in roles of responsibility in the Operations or Industrial areas, gained in structured companies in the Ready-To-Wear sector;
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, leadership, goal-oriented, and continuous improvement skills;
  • Good command of written and spoken English.


Preferential/Nice to have

  • Advanced use of ERP systems and software for managing Operations processes;
  • Ability to analyze workflows, identifying anomalies and anticipating critical issues;
  • In-depth knowledge of clothing industry production processes, market trends, and technological innovation opportunities;
  • Familiarity with operational KPIs and continuous improvement tools.

Compensation Package

The placement will take place with a remuneration package consisting of a fixed base and a variable component , capable of valorizing the best candidates.
