Equipment Sales Manager - Plant Asset Valorization

The resource will be responsible for the management, valorization, and disposal of assets (machinery and equipment) of complex infrastructure plants and major projects, through channels such as: auctions, dealer networks, OEMs, and traders.

Main activities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle of used assets , from the end of the project to the sale itself
  • Support the line in assessing the condition of the equipment and defining its presumed market value
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize the economic capital gain , given a certain residual value of the asset
  • Identify and manage different sales channels (auctions, dealers, direct sales, online platforms) based on the type of goods to be placed on the market and the specific characteristics of the market in which you operate
  • Negotiate with clients, brokers and business partners nationally and internationally
  • Coordinate with project teams to plan machine pickup and availability
  • Monitor the used market and industry trends
  • Manage the technical and administrative documentation related to the sale of assets
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance and available stock

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Consolidated experience in the Sales area of structured companies, with a preference for the Infrastructure sector and/or construction of equipment for the infrastructure sector
  • Expertise in market analysis and benchmarking, purchasing and sales strategies, negotiation techniques, contracting, and value and cost analysis
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language - interviews will be in English
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package and dedicated management software
  • Availability to travel within the EU/EXTRA EU - approximately 50% of the time
  • Strong analytical skills, precision and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in complex and dynamic environments


Preferential/Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Economics or Engineering
  • Knowledge of SAP

Compensation Package

  • Gross annual base salary around €70,000 - National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Construction and Industry
