Main activities
The position will be responsible for the overall management of the plant , ensuring the achievement of production, quality, safety and cost objectives, in line with company strategies.
The role is central to the company's competitiveness, with a direct impact on performance, people, and industrial results.
Main responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for plant management , with direct coordination of the main functions (Production, Maintenance, HSE, Plant Logistics, General Services, Industrial Relations, Quality and relationships with local institutions), ensuring the achievement of industrial objectives in terms of volumes, quality and operational efficiency.
- Monitoring and improving production performance by defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing structured continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, efficiency and cost reduction programs), ensuring operational continuity and process reliability.
- Economic and financial management of the production site , with responsibility for defining and monitoring the operating budget (Opex), cost control and the planning and management of industrial investments (Capex), ensuring economic balance, sustainability of operations and development of production assets.
- Promoting innovation and cross-functional collaboration , working in synergy with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and Engineering functions to implement industrial strategies and development projects, in full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.

Requirements
Essentials/Must have
- Consolidated experience in roles of responsibility in Operations or Industrial Production , preferably gained in the food sector (Food & Beverage) and in structured and complex production contexts.
- Solid skills in the economic and industrial management of the site , with oversight of budgeting, management of operating costs, investment management and the use of KPIs for performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Authoritative leadership and ability to manage complex organizational environments, with proven experience in coordinating and developing teams and interacting effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferential/Nice to have
- Degree in a technical-scientific discipline , preferably in Engineering or Food Science and Technology.
- Experience gained in structured and complex industrial contexts , ideally within multinational organizations.
- Knowledge of the main continuous improvement methodologies , such as Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma, with experience in managing process optimization projects and increasing operational efficiency.
- Experience in managing industrial relations at plant level , with the ability to monitor and develop constructive dialogue with social partners.

Compensation Package
- Management Position – National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Food Industry.
- Gross annual fixed salary (RAL) approximately between €80,000 and €90,000.
- Variable incentive system, tied to the achievement of individual and company objectives.
