Main activities
- Manage the entire purchasing process for assigned product categories (packaging, indirect materials, services, and capital goods), ensuring quality, costs, delivery times, and continuity of supplies;
- Conduct scouting, qualification, and development activities for new national and international suppliers, evaluating their reliability, production capacity, economic competitiveness, and level of service;
- Manage the negotiation of commercial conditions, contracts, and framework agreements, contributing to the achievement of savings and cost optimization objectives;
- Monitor supplier performance through dedicated KPIs (quality, punctuality, service, competitiveness), promoting continuous improvement and vendor panel rationalization;
- Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Operations, and internal business functions to ensure the proper procurement of materials and services required for production activities;
- Contribute to the review and standardization of procurement procedures, supporting the introduction of more structured and efficient processes;
- Analyze the target market and monitor cost trends for assigned categories, identifying efficiency opportunities and new sourcing solutions;
- Support the Purchasing Manager in implementing organizational improvement projects and developing the Procurement function;
- Ensure the correct use of the company's ERP (SAP) in purchasing activities, ensuring the quality and reliability of process data.

Requirements
Essentials/Must have
- Consolidated experience in Buyer or Procurement Specialist roles within structured industrial companies;
- Experience in managing indirect purchasing, packaging, services and technical materials;
- Experience in scouting and qualifying new suppliers;
- Good experience in commercial negotiation and deal management;
- Ability to analyze supplier costs, offers and performance;
- Good knowledge of the main ERP systems, preferably SAP;
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and priority management skills;
- Good level of English.
Preferential/Nice to have
- Coming from the Food & Beverage or Packaging sector;
- Experience in manufacturing companies characterized by high production volumes;
- Knowledge of continuous improvement processes in Procurement.
