Main activities
- Design, implement, and improve management control and accounting processes and procedures - define the scope of the role, which is new to the company and currently followed directly by the CFO and his team of 7 people (administration, finance, and HR).
- He will collaborate on the design and development of a reporting process based on BI and Artificial Intelligence tools.
- It will support the evaluation of potential targets and the development of industrial plans.
- Analyze profitability, margins, and financial performance through various analytical dimensions consistent with the company's organizational and business model, such as Business Units, Divisions, product lines/categories, and Customers.
- Define, build, and monitor financial and operational KPIs, identifying performance drivers, variances, and key areas of focus.
- Interpret results through actual vs. budget, forecast, and prior-year analysis.
- Develop and evolve dashboards, management reporting, and Business Intelligence/Data Visualization tools.
- Support management in interpreting performance through quantitative analysis, trend analysis, scenario analysis, and data-based recommendations.
- He or she will participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to validate data, understand underlying drivers, and identify opportunities for performance improvement.

Requirements
Essentials/Must have
- Structured experience in Management Control, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Controlling or similar roles, gained in organized corporate contexts.
- Solid background in preparing management reports and analyzing economic and financial performance; familiarity with KPIs, variance analysis, margins, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel; good awareness and curiosity about the evolution of Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Artificial Intelligence tools, with a real interest in their applications to analysis and control processes.
- Strongly analytical and data-driven approach, ability to construct structured analyses and formulate recommendations supported by quantitative evidence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with counterparts belonging to different company functions and at different levels of seniority, including management.
- Fluent English: The selection process, including the interview, will be conducted in English.
- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline.
Preferential/Nice to have
- Preferably, experience gained in structured commercial environments with significant organizational complexity – for example, in logistics or distribution.
