Foreign Buyer

• Analysis of inventory turnover data for the purpose of issuing purchase orders;
• Processing orders from foreign suppliers and entering them into the management system;
• Check order confirmations and update delivery dates in the system;
• Managing any anomalies in orders, costs, or delivery times with suppliers, including product non-conformities;
• Checking the consistency of supplier invoices and checking the correspondence between orders and invoices;
• Taking charge of accepted goods and processing of orders in the system;
• Coding of items in the management system and updating of supplier price lists;
• Processing data and reporting on product profitability to support management.

Essentials/Must have

• Previous experience, even brief, in purchasing/procurement offices, with foreign suppliers, preferably in the mechanical engineering or technical distribution sector;
• Knowledge of the purposes of the purchasing function and the procedural flow of orders to foreign suppliers (issuing, checking the conformity of incoming goods, fulfillment and closure);
• Elements of business accounting (active and passive cycle) and commercial contracts;
• Proficiency in the MS Office package, with particular reference to Excel, and ability to analyze and process data related to management software (ERP);
• Excellent knowledge of technical and business English, both written and spoken, for daily communication with foreign interlocutors.

Preferential/Nice to have

• Ability to organize and plan work, managing multiple activities in parallel, timeframes and priorities;
• Problem-solving skills, even in urgent situations or with incomplete information;
• Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills, with aptitude for mediating between different positions and cultures.

The conditions for inclusion include direct hiring with a CCNL Commercio (National Collective Bargaining Agreement) at approximately level II and a gross annual salary (RAL) expected to be around € 40,000 .
