INTERNATIONAL HR MANAGER

 

Our client is a leading multinational listed company in the chemical industry that owns plants in Europe, USA and APAC. For its HQ in Genoa, we are currently searching an international HR Manager.

 

General Description of the Role Mission

Reporting to the Group Corporate General Manager, he/she will lead the Group-wide HR department, overseeing all HR functions and processing strategies to meet corporate objectives.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the EMEA HR team, ensuring that organizational policies and pay practices are in compliance with company policies;
  • Supervise Regional HR Teams (APAC, USA) in close collaboration with Regional CEOs with reference to procedures, policies, organization activities and data collection;
  • Define and lead the employer branding strategy;
  • Shape global HR plans, with the General Manager and Regional CEOs, supported by Regional HR teams;
  • Support the C-Levels by implementing change management initiatives and reviewing/developing new processes (Performance & Talent Management, Managerial Training, etc);
  • Oversee HR technology procedures and tools, driving automation and process improvements;
  • Implement the global Compensation & Benefits strategy;
  • Process annual Group personnel budget and support Controlling Department on a monthly basis;
  • Support Corporate Service Team in managing M&A and Due Diligence projects on a global basis;
  • Support ESG team, with a focus on the Social Cluster, by developing engagement, D&I, wellbeing plans;
  • Oversee Industrial Relations, negotiations and trade agreements for European Unionized plants, consistent with the Group strategies and objectives and local labor legislation;
  • Manage relations with employers’ Associations.

 

Required Skills and experience

  • The candidate has a University Degree, preferably with Master program;
  • At least 7+ years of solid and significant experience in HR functions, gained in industrial/chemical manufacturing companies;
  • Strongly motivated, able to take initiative and work in a demanding environment, he / she is an organized, responsible and committed person. The ability to act as a team player will be a fundamental attitude;
  • Proficiency in English (both oral and written) as well as in MS Office, LinkedIn and other social resourcing tools and networks are required.

 

Place of work

Genoa. Availability for travel and transfers within the national and international territory is required – smart working to be defined.
