CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

 

 

PURPOSE:

Responsible for global HR leadership and direction to support the achievement of company business plans. Provide consulting and participation with Senior Management on key HR & Business strategic priorities.

Lead the company in creating a culture that values employees and effectively manages changes.

 

 

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with Senior Management for crafting the organization’s vision and strategy;
  • Lead organization assessment, design, development and change to capitalize on growth opportunities while ensuring a culture that values employees;
  • Lead HR function to support and enhance the organization’s strategic business plans and organizational needs;
  • Oversees key HR processes including talent acquisition, talent development & planning, training, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and administration;
  • Provide internal consulting, teambuilding processes and executive leadership development;
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are compliant with legal regulations;
  • Assume responsibility for labor relations, manage litigations with the Unions and contract negotiations;
  • Perform monthly/quarterly personnel budgeting and forecasting reports;
  • Ensure and manage the control of personnel costs according to the company’s financial strategy.

 

 

Experience, Knowledge, Skills

  • Proven experience as HR Director in International Retail Environment;
  • Experience in planning, developing and implementing effective HR strategies;
  • Sound knowledge of all labour laws and regulations;
  • Proven experience with Unions and contract negotiations;
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers and data analysis;
  • Strong leadership, organization and communication skills;
  • Fluent English is a must have.
