Our client is a leading international fresh food supply chain organization.

In order to reinforce the local structure, we are looking for a





The BDM is responsible for driving business growth within the company: accountable for new customers, new categories and new products. This role involves identifying new targets and opportunities, fundamentally developing, presenting and selling of the business case to the potential customers and ensuring implementation.


  • Perform commercial activities management ensuring growth by sales;
  • Successful development, launch and implementation of new customers to boost business growth;
  • Foster relationships with new customer top management and key stakeholders by making regular contact and participating in regular review meetings;
  • Seek and evaluate potential avenues for growth including alternate industry or geographic segments, platforms and services and manage the project at 360 degrees;
  • Influence and ensure engagement of the sales team, other internal and external stakeholders and effective collaboration with inter-functional teams, like Supply Chain, sales support teams, product development;
  • Ensure engagement with external stakeholders and represent the company.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Engineering/Supply Chain is required - MBA, other postgraduate qualification in Business is desirable;
  • 6+ experience in sales/business development, preferably in the fresh food supply chain businesses/food system – BtB;
  • Logistics business model experience;
  • Experience in strategy development, change management, project management and generate/build relationships with clients and suppliers (3PL/Retail);
  • A self-motivated and organized Manager, a decision maker;
  • Used to working with operational excellence practices;
  • Multicultural experience in international environments;
  • High level of energy, strong sense of commitment, results drive;
  • Full working proficiency in English is required.


The position is based in Lombardia – Home office.
