In order to reinforce the local structure, we are looking for a
CENTRE/SOUTH ITALY ACCOUNT MANAGER
Mission:
The Account Manager is responsible for developing strong relationships with existing customers/key accounts, connecting with key business executives, and stakeholders to further develop the Company business. He/She is also responsible to answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers; to liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire CX – customer experience.
Responsabilities:
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits;
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives;
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas (New Market Verticals, Supply Chain collaborations, etc.);
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare reports on account status;
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure credit collections;
- Ensure the correct application of the company sales tool;
- Ensure the appropriate visibility in terms of sales activities and opportunities adopting the company CRM as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business is preferred - other postgraduate qualification in Business is desirable;
- 5+ experience in sales/business development, preferably in the fresh food supply chain businesses/food system – BtB;
- Logistics business model experience;
- Experience in account management, and generating/building relationships with clients and suppliers - BtB;
- Knowledge of working with a CRM system and perfect use of Excel;
- Strong commercial ability and enhanced presentation, negotiation, and communication skills;
- Ability to “close the deal” and achieve a sustainable win-win outcome;
- Used to working with operational excellence practices;
- Multicultural experience in international environments;
- A self-motivated and organized Manager, a decision maker;
- High level of energy, strong sense of commitment, results drive;
- Full working proficiency in English is required; German basic knowledge is preferable.
Location:
The position is based in the Centre/South of Italy – Home office.
