Main activities

SALES MANAGER VCS - GLOBAL MARKETS

Reporting directly to the Divisional COO for the VCS (Vehicle Control Systems) range and functionally to the Group’s Sales & Marketing Director, the Global Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the entity's success in the international markets. 

With a proven track record in management and a wealth of experience in Business Development/Sales, you'll be responsible for driving the sales strategy, customer relations, and product roadmap for OEMs, Tier 1 and Car Manufacturer. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the sales strategy, including top-line business plans and customer & product roadmaps, in close collaboration with Global KAMs and the Group Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Ensure seamless execution of the strategy, setting clear annual targets for sales generation, profitability, and potentially pipeline/order intake.
  • Integrate customer and market perspectives into the entity’s strategy and business decisions, leveraging your insights and unique personality.
  • Organize and lead the small Marketing and Inside Sales Team, ensuring effective coordination with Global and Regional KAMsor direct business development/sales teams.
  • Define and implement the sales action plan for automotive business and others industies (Off-Highway, Agri-Cons., Heavy Duty, Marine, ...) 

Requirements

Must have

  • Master degree in engineering or business administration
  • Long-lasting experience in Automotive (out of which min. 5 years in a senior sales management position)
  • Significant network in the relevant industries
  • Languages: fluent in English + the language of the country where he/she is located; experienced to work in transversal, international teams
  • Strong leadership skills, strong sense of business strategy + development, strong negotiations skills, profound understanding of the automotive industry and the global value chain
  • Technical know-ledge: strong technical culture, ideally related to powertrain


Nice to have

  • Background in VCS - Vehicle Contro Systems industry (Electronic Control Unit [ECU], Powertrain Control Module [PCM], Engine Control Module [ECM], Transmission Control Module [TCM], ... ) both from a product development and custom engineering perspective. 
  • Knowledge of the relvant non-Automotive markets (Off-Highway, Agri.Cons, Marine). 
  • Experience in standard and in engineered solutions for Sustainable Mobility and Electric Power Units clusters. 

Benefits

The company will support the hired manager with all the working tools needed (Car, ...). For non-resident candidates, will be considered a possible initial support for the relocation.

Compensation Package

The selected candidates will be hired by the Italian company with a local NCBA, at a managerial level. 

The compensation pack, with a solid base line, will consider the sales potential and actual perfomances.
