Account Manager - GDO - Retail - Logistic background

The AM is in change of developing relationships with Clients, being also responsible to identify new business opportunites to improve the entire CX - customer experience

Main activities

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits;
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of company solutions according to customer needs and objectives;
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas (New Market Verticals, Supply Chain collaborations, etc.);
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare reports on account status;
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure credit collections;
  • Ensure the correct application of the company sales tool;
  • Ensure the appropriate visibility in terms of sales activities and opportunities adopting the company CRM as required.


Must have

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 4+ experience in sales/business development, preferably in the fresh supply chain businesses/food system/ 3PL, GDO, Retail – BtB - Logistics business model background;
  • Experience in account management and generating/building relationships with clients and suppliers - BtB;
  • Knowledge of working with a CRM system and perfect use of Excel;
  • Strong commercial ability and enhanced presentation, negotiation, and communication skills;
  • High level of energy, strong sense of commitment, results drive;
  • Full working proficiency in English is required.
