Our client is a constantly growing Italian company operating in the distribution of furniture accessories and has commissioned us to search for a Procurement Support Specialist.

Main activities

  • Supplier Order Management:
    • Manage supplier orders within the company’s ERP system and monitor them based on sell-out data.
    • Coordinate with shippers and handle EEC and Extra-EU shipment documentation.
    • Manage supplier orders in Chinese/English, including ship loading based on space availability and ensuring appropriate maritime freight rates.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Oversee translations for gift packaging from Chinese to the required languages for commercialization based on country of destination.
    • Participate in industry fairs in China and visit our Shanghai office for activity coordination.
  • Contract and Cost Management:
    • Manage contracts between suppliers and clients, considering specific costs based on materials, exchange rates, and additional transport costs according to current freight rates.
    • Handle ship space management for full containers or consolidated shipments based on the port of origin.
  • Certification and Compliance:
    • Manage certifications according to material specifications and ensure compliance with regulations of the commercialization country.


Must have

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the described tasks.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, Italian and Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, email, and the Office suite (especially Excel).
  • Willingness to travel for industry fairs in China/India.
  • Strong team working skills, versatility in handling assigned tasks, excellent problem-solving abilities, precision, and reliability are essential requirements.
  • Availability for potential overtime.
