Accounting Manager

The resource will be responsible for managing, supervising, and ensuring the accuracy of all accounting and tax activities, coordinating the team and ensuring timely monthly closings, reliable financial data, and compliance with procedures.

Main activities

  • Coordination and operational supervision of the administrative team (3 resources)
  • Control of the following activities: active invoicing, general accounting, treasury and banking relationships and supplier accounting and debt collection
  • Management and control of general accounting: accounting entries, reconciliations, accruals/deferrals, amortizations
  • Support in the preparation of monthly closings and annual financial statements (pre-tax)
  • Support the HR Manager in preparing documents for consultants, banks, and other external stakeholders.
  • Supervision of tax compliance (in coordination with the accountant): VAT, LIPE, Intrastat, F24, CU, 770 and tax deadlines
  • Verification of the correctness of accounting and tax procedures
  • Analysis of administrative processes and contribution to the introduction of new digital and management tools.

Requirements

Hard Skills:

  • Diploma in Accounting or Degree in Economics and Commerce
  • Significant experience in the role gained in structured manufacturing companies, preferably medium-sized
  • Solid knowledge of general accounting and statutory financial statements
  • Good knowledge of Italian tax obligations
  • Excellent command of Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP 4/Hana is a plus
  • Interest and openness to new technologies and automation/AI tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Experience in managing and coordinating teams
  • Precision, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to control, have an overview and pay attention to meeting deadlines
  • Operational attitude and willingness to "go into detail" when necessary.
