Buyer Grocery Conserve

· Define and implement purchasing strategies for assigned Grocery categories, in line with commercial objectives;

· Manage negotiations with suppliers, defining prices, commercial conditions, discounts, bonuses and promotional contributions;

· Manage and develop the assortment, evaluating the introduction of new products, optimizing the range, and rationalizing product lines;

· Monitor category performance by analyzing turnover, margins, sales, rotations, and key commercial KPIs;

· Contribute to the definition of pricing policies and promotional activities, monitoring their results and economic effectiveness;

· Manage and develop relationships with suppliers, identifying opportunities for collaboration and performance improvement;

· Collaborate with internal functions, particularly Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Logistics, to ensure proper category development and product availability;

· Analyze the market, consumer trends, and competitive dynamics, identifying opportunities for development and innovation of the offering.

Essentials/Must have

• Degree in Economics

• At least 4 years' experience as a Grocery Buyer, preferably gained in the large-scale retail sector or, alternatively, in the food industry

• Knowledge of the main Grocery product categories and related market dynamics
